Loss isn’t always visible but your experience matters.
We offer care that listens, supports and gently helps you begin to heal.

Experiencing Loss

Losing a pregnancy no matter how early, can be a painful and disorienting experience. The physical and emotional impact is often difficult to put into words. At our practice, we offer a safe, respectful space where you can process, ask questions, and receive the medical care you need.

For some, a natural miscarriage may be managed without intervention. Others may require or choose a procedure such as a Dilation and Curettage (D&C) to complete the process safely. Dr Rockson will talk you through each option in detail, help you understand what to expect and ensure you feel informed and cared for at every stage.

Pregnancy Loss

Loss is not one experience and it can come in many forms. For some, it’s the heartbreak of a miscarriage. For others, it’s the quiet grief of struggling to conceive. It may be a missed heartbeat at a scan or the weight of recurring disappointment month after month. No matter where your pain begins, it matters and so do you.

We acknowledge the emotional toll of this kind of loss, even when it isn’t visible or easily spoken about. You do not need to explain or justify your grief to receive care, compassion and support.

Everyone navigates loss differently and that’s okay. We’re here to offer guidance that meets you where you are physically, emotionally and practically. This includes follow-up care, information on healing and conversations around next steps, if and when you feel ready.

Have questions such as:

Why did this happen?
When can we start trying again?
What is normal to feel physically and emotionally?
How do I support my partner or how can they support me?

You're not expected to have all the answers. We’re here to help you find them, with sensitivity and clinical insight.
