Dr. Esther Rockson is a skilled and dynamic Gynaecologist devoted to delivering exceptional, personalised care to women across all stages of life. Practising at Busamed Modderfontein Private Hospital in Linbro Park and Life Carstenhof Hospital in Midrand, she blends medical expertise with warmth, compassion and a deep understanding of women’s health needs.
With a background that spans both traditional and aesthetic gynaecology, Dr. Rockson offers comprehensive care from managing everyday gynaecological concerns to supporting women through pregnancy, childbirth and advanced reconstructive procedures. Internationally trained in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Gynaecology, she brings a unique, holistic approach to her consultations, ensuring each patient feels confident, cared for and empowered.
Dr. Rockson began her medical journey at Walter Sisulu University, graduating in 2008. She completed her internship at the Addington-Mahatma Gandhi Hospital complex in Durban, followed by community service in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Tambo Memorial Hospital in Johannesburg. Her passion for women’s health led her to pursue a four-year specialisation, working at renowned institutions including Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, Johannesburg General Hospital and Rahima Moosa Mother & Child Hospital.
In 2016, she became a Fellow of the College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists and obtained her Master’s Degree in Medicine from the University of the Witwatersrand, where she continues to contribute as an examiner for final-year medical students.
Her commitment to innovation and patient-centred care took her to
Warsaw, Poland, in 2017, where she completed a Diploma in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Gynaecology with the European Society for Aesthetic Medicine.
As a mother and wife herself, Dr. Rockson understands the importance of connection in the doctor–patient relationship. Her patients describe her as vibrant, approachable and deeply respectful. She is a trusted partner in their healthcare journeys.
