Dr Esther Rockson is a female skilled Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She consults on various gynaecological issues and as well as management of pregnancy and childbirth with practices at Busamed Modderfontein hospital in Linbro Park and at Life Carstenhof in Midrand.

 

She is internationally trained in Aesthetic gynaecology, and offers a wide range of treatments and procedures.  She is vibrant, enthusiastic, friendly yet professional towards her patients. Dr Rockson provides holistic individualised solutions for her patients. She is a mother and wife and therefore understands how important it is for her patients to be able to connect with her as their doctor.

 

Dr Rockson obtained her undergraduate degree at the Walter Sisulu University (former Transkei) in the Eastern Cape in 2008. She moved to Durban to complete her internship at the Addington-Mahatma Gandhi Hospital complex. She relocated to Johannesburg and performed her community service in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Tambo Memorial Hospital.

She successfully completed her 4 year specialization and became a fellow of the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2016, this involved working and training at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, Johannesburg General Hospital and Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital and other surrounding hospitals in Johannesburg. During the same year, she also obtained a Masters degree at the University of the Witwatersrand. She is still affiliated to the university and is involved in examining final year medical students when the need arises

In 2017, she obtained a diploma in Aesthetic and reconstructive Gynaecology with the European Society for Aesthetic Medicine in Warsaw, Poland.
